Kindergarten Roundup
Of course I had to take a first day of school picture. That's just what Mom's do. :) Audrey got to go to a day of school for kindergarten roundup this year. We walked together the three blocks to school so she could be there by 7:55 AM. It was an early out day at 1:30 and she was full of things to tell us when she arrived home. Dinosaurs was the theme for the day, and she was SOOO excited about all they had seen and done. Apparently there were three recesses, activity stations, rest time, lunch time, papers to do, sounded like lots of kindergarten testing things...etc. Lots of fun for an active, social, 4-year-old. They are expecting 10 students in next year's kindergarten class. Audrey wants to go back again.

Audrey's haircut
"My haircut was pretty nice but every time she spritzed my hair near my eyes, I kept doing my eyes shut. When she brushed my hair when it was long, it hurted still like my mom. When she brushed my hair when it was short, it felt nice. My hair is cute and stuff that I really like it. My hair is really good that I think it is. It is nice for my hair not to hurt my head when it gets brushed." - Audrey
