A little less Fluffy

Okay, here is a before picture of our cat Fluffly, before I gave it a trim. I realized I forgot to take a picture before and this is the best one I could find of her recently. I was getting SOOOOOOO tired of picking up bits of fluff all over the house. She has been shedding clumps the last month or so. The previous owner had her taken to the vet and shaved every spring, but I'm cheap so I did it myself. :)



Yikes! This cat had a lot of fur!


She looks slightly pathetic and hacked but she absolutely loved the trim and purred her way through it. She is very happy and cleans herself a lot now, digging down to the skin which I'm sure she couldn't do before. And . . . I haven't seen a single fur clump on the floor since.

Splash Pad

 

Aaron turns 30

Aaron received a grill for his birthday, so of course we had to cook out for lunch today!


We had hamburgers, marinated teriyaki chicken and there are potatoes with butter and garlic salt inside the foil wrappers. It was yummy!

New Splash Pad in Walnut

Walnut just opened a new Splash Pad this past Friday. It's free and the kids love it!


Audrey had the nerve to shoot me with the water gun while I was trying to take her picture!!! Actually it felt quite good since it was 95 degrees!
