Homecoming week
Well, it's homecoming week and the students are allowed to dress a little extravagantly. Today was 'crazy day'. I asked Audrey what that meant and her teacher said to do crazy hair. So... we did. She looked crazy and she was excited to go.
Audrey was also randomly selected to be the crown bearer for the queen for homecoming this Friday at the football game. She'll get to dress up pretty and present the crown to the homecoming queen, probably even get her picture in the paper. More to come....

Officially a soccer mom
It has begun. I am now officially a soccer mom. Audrey loves to run and play, so if you add a ball it's even better. She likes to play with friends her age and this is certainly a good opportunity. There are 18 on her team!
Emma
Starting yesterday, I have begun watching another child Tuesday through Friday during the school year. Her name is Emma and she is actually younger than Abigail, even though she looks much bigger. My children are just very petite! They both like having a playmate their age and they have lots of fun together.

First day of school
Audrey was SOOOO EXCITED for her first day of school. She could NOT stop smiling!

She picked out her outfit the day before and requested her hair be done this way. (She has two little braids.) We were able to take Audrey's school things to her classroom the day before at the open house, so all she had to carry this morning was her blanket for nap time.

She looks very grown up sitting in the car.

Still smiling!
Daddy will usually drop her off on his way to church in the morning. Then Mommy will pick her up after school. We will probably walk/wagon ride/bike, but today it is raining, so we will have to see what the weather is like this afternoon.

Prarie Rose Lake
It was a good evening to head out to the beach at the lake and play. We went a little crazy on the sand castles this time, but it was lots of fun.

Family photo in the water... didn't even drop the camera in!

SISTERS!! :)

Abigail was content for a long time right here. She said she was making her own sand castle.
