It's been nearly a week, but last week I counseled at Jr. High Camp @ Iowa Regular Baptist Camp in Clear Lake, IA. There were over 420 campers, and 5 from our church in Walnut. I counseled a cabin with 9 boys, 8 of whom I had never met before last week. I had a great time--and am looking forward to my next opportunity to counsel.Saturday, on our way back, I got word from a lady--that her father passed away, and the funeral was to be on Sunday. I agreed to do the funeral. Needless to say, it was a very full weekend. I was glad to be an encouragement to the family.
I came down with a cold Sunday Night--and still have a runny nose. Please pray that I'll get over it soon.
